In extremely high temperatures, some of the tungsten atoms leave the filament and become deposited on the inner walls of the glass bulb and trigger darkening, further lowering the performance of the lamp, as emission is reduced by the darkened glass bulb. The tungsten filament does not vaporize uniformly. Instead, evaporation occurs on weak spots, where vaporization of tungsten happens quicker. Finally, a break occurs in this region and the light bulb gets busted.
The distinction between a halogen lamp and an incandescent one is the former is better in many aspects. Both have different characteristics, although both have the sam-e crucial factor, the tungsten filament. Halogen mild bulbs are smaller than incandescent bulbs to focus warmth in a room that is smaller. The glass encasing is also different because it's infused with quartz which resists temperature extremes.
